Partnership for Cures uses a collaborative partnership model for helping donors fund breakthrough medical research. We listen carefully to philanthropic investors, foundations, and other major donors to help them define their goals related to the pursuit of cures. Then we tap our extensive network of cutting-edge research scientists and institutions to find an initial match and the process of developing a partnership likely to produce a breakthrough has begun. A unique Research Roadmap ™ is negotiated. The parties get to know and appreciate each other. The research begins and the conversation continues.

The core product of PFC is the Inspired Venture Progam.  In addition to creating Inspired Venture partnerships, Partnership for Cures manages two highly regarded programs that are integrated into the overall mission of transforming the way cures are discovered. A Pilot Grant Program has supported over 100 hypotheses grants since 1997. These grants help researchers collect initial data on exciting new ideas. The Culpeper Scholarships in Medical Science Awards Program, established in 1988, provides funding to young physician-scientists who are at the transition point of becoming principal investigators at major academic centers. Twenty million dollars has been invested in this extraordinary talent pool in 59 institutions.
